About The Event
Join Sue Howard-Warren each Sunday for five weeks from 6pm to 8:30pm starting November 12th and practice drawing the human face and form.
Over the 5 week period you will have the opportunity to try out a range of different materials (graphite, charcoal, watercolour and ink) to learn the strengths and weaknesses of each.
Each of the sessions will start with guided portrait drawing exploring different techniques, followed by your opportunity to test your new skills with a live model. Registration Required.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Born in Bahrain, educated in the UK and living in Canada, Sue Howard is a Nova Scotia-based visual artist. With an eclectic travel and career path behind her, she is fortunate to be able to blend multiple threads of her passions and interest, family, volunteering and art together. Her artistic practice is influenced by Giorgio Morandi, Agnes Martin, Makoto Fujimura, Etel Adnen and Frank Auerbach. Her work is held in private collections in England, Scotland, Canada, the United States and the Bahrain Royal Family.
