Mosaic Magic with Vienie McShane

Bring out your creativity with some meaningful mosaic fun. Join us as Vienie guides you with a little mosaic project of your choice. She will teach you how to include photographs and text into your mosaic work of art. Upcycle an old picture frame, cover a small Jewellery box, or create a small plaque with the number of your house, you decide!

All materials are included in this workshop however you are invited to bring something you wish to mosaic like an old picture frame, a small glass vase, an old plant pot etc (optional). If you decide to bring your own item to mosaic please no bigger than a standard letter page. You may also bring any interesting pieces of old ceramic or sea glass (optional).

Skill level: Beginner - no experience needed

About Your Instructor:

Vienie McShane moved to Nova Scotia three years ago from South Africa. She has a diploma in Jewellery Design & Manufacture, as well as a BEd & a diploma in Waldorf Education. Vienie's passion for art and craft started at a very young age. She grew up in a home where both parents were successful artists and she was fortunate to explore an array of art mediums. Apart from teaching at the local Waldorf School, Vienie spends her free  time working on her beautiful floral cakes, drawing, crafting and looking after her children.
