COMMUNITY ART INSTRUCTORS
The Chester Art Centre is growing our roster of teaching artists for our weekly drop-in community program, Discover Art. We are looking for artists to host two hour drop-in workshops on a casual basis. Teaching hours are Sunday's from 1pm to 3pm. Artists are rotated weekly based on their availability.

Responsibilities:

-
Plan and deliver a high quality art or craft activity suitable for a range of abilities and ages. We strive to make the projects as accessible as possible as well as family-friendly. Projects should spark creativity and be fun!
-
After being approved to join our roster, artists will be required to submit their idea for approval in advance of their scheduled workshop day. Once approved, we'll also need an image of your sample project to share with the community and promote the event.

Artists are paid a $100 flat fee per two-hour workshop and all art materials are provided by the Art Centre.
